The more I focused my energy on the anxiety the more powerful my anxiety attack became. So with the aid of a therapist, I was able to work on my thoughts and defeat my anxiety.
It would be a lie to say I am anxiety free, but I'm much more able to deal with anxiety, I've more coping techniques. Coping with anxiety is now much easier for me.
