Are you aware that Spanish is the third most spoken language globally currently? The Spanish language is in 3rd place to Mandarin, the worlds most spoken language succeeded by English.

Interesting is the point that because of country populations, the main speaking Spanish country is Mexico, with around 106 million Spanish speakers, while Spain only has a population of about 44 million .

Learning to talk in Spanish is very easy and can be a lot of fun the moment you start. You can take a number of alternatives that will assist you in understanding Spanish. You can have night courses if you have the time and the personal preference, but these days there are other ways such as buying a learn Spanish ebook, or an audio series of tapes or an online course. These alternatives enable you to study in your own time and at your own speed, instead of being locked in to a set period of time like a night training course.

The benefits and drawbacks of Night School to learn Spanish .

The most important advantage of having a night course is that you can see how your learning is progressing compared to other folks in the class. You also can get quick feedback from your teacher.

There are several disadvantages though. If you are leaning faster than other folks in your course, then you may grow impatient with the speed, as the trainer will need to ensure the other members of your class reach your level prior to moving on, and this can be very annoying.

There is also a chance that you may miss one or more class's due to sickness, having to travel for work, or just other responsibilities such as spouse and children. Even if you miss just one class it can be hard to catch up to the rest of the class. I have seen people skip a class and then quit as they have found it too tough to catch up.

Getting an online or audio course.

This is my favourite method, and one that I have personally utilized for a few topics. I discover that I can work at my own speed, allowing me to use my time to the best. With audio courses I find that repetition is the key thing to learning, especially with languages. The good thing about audio courses is that you can put a cd or tape in your car when traveling to the workplace and the learning almost becomes like osmosis. You don't need to dedicate the time to this, as you are driving anyway.

Even if you travel to work by bus or train, a walkman or other such device will permit you to listen while on the go. Depending on how excellent your memory is, and how well you understand the subject at hand, whether learning to speak Spanish or learning just anything, you can listen to each lesson as often as you need to learn speak Spanish.
